The Spicy Lamb Farm is honoured to host an annual Herding Training Clinic with Lyle Lad on the first weekend in May. The 2019 dates are May 4/5th. These clinics are limited to 10 to 12 dogs. And privates sessions are available on May 3th only for those in the clinic for an additional fee. All breeds and levels may sign up for a two day clinic with Lyle Lad, who has been training dogs and trialing for 30 years.
Lyle Lad who comes from Georgetown, Ohio. Lyle is a well-known handler who holds not only the distinction of having competed in world finals an numerous national finals but having won the Bluegrass Classic Sheep Dog Trails three times in a row. Lyle not only breeds and trains her own dogs; she trains students and puts on sheepdog clinics, including a clinic at The Spicy Lamb Farm on the first weekend in May each year.
Saturday night canine behavioral lecturer Ken McCort will join us for a presentation before our potluck dinner. And, we will have the Derby on for those who want to stop and watch the running of the roses.
